Ancient Apothecary - Eeboo

A dash of this, a dash of that…this detailed illustration gives us a glimpse into an ancient apothecary. Three women chemists are creating potions and medicinal remedies. Ginger jars filled with herbs from faraway lands, a mortar and pestle set, petite vials carefully stored on shelves, and a sleeping cat make this image intriguing. Margaux Samson Abadie, aka Nano Février, lives in a small coastal town in the west of France. "My work is rooted in nature, childhood memories, and folklore.
